APA's FR-1 (Field Ready-One) Optics Mounting System was designed to meet the needs of both modern field snipers and precision rifle competitors. It comes equipped with an integrated allen wrench stored directly in the body of the mount for assembling and disassembling the mount in the field without any extra tools. The T-15 screws are extra deep to ensure a rock-solid interface between the FR-1 mount and the host weapon's rail, and stainless steel side impact protection rods mated between the mount body and caps to ensure maximum scope shift protection. Additionally, the FR-1 is compatible with a whole host of accessories such as diving board mounts, data card holders, bubble levels, accessory ring caps, and micro red dot mounts. The FR-1 also boasts a state-of-the-art magnetic attachment system allowing secure accessory interchangeability at unprecedented speeds and ease.
