Description

The Anschutz 1761HB offers an excellent combination of elegance, accuracy, and utility. It comes equipped with the 1761 action – an extremely reliable system developed over the course of 3 years by the master gunsmiths of Anschutz’s factory in Ulm, Germany. Each component of the 1761 action is precisely machined and hand fitted, resulting in a short bolt throw of 60° with a smooth operation and minimal effort needed to cycle the action. Features of the 1761 action include a roller-bearing cocking piece to reduce the effort to cock the rifle, 3 robust locking lugs, and a spring/plunger ejector to ensure maximum reliability.

Other features of the Anschutz 1761HB include a 5061 trigger, which delivers an exceptional 2-stage pull and can be finely adjusted for pull weight. The 20” barrel features a heavy profile and a muzzle crown. The combination of the crisp, 2-stage trigger and heavy barrel gives the 1761HB outstanding accuracy. Other highlights of the 1761HB include a Monte Carlo stock made from select cuts of premium wood. The stock features a distinctly European style with its Schnabel forend, and a raised cheekpiece promotes proper alignment between the shooter’s eye and a mounted optic.

Features of the Anschutz 1761HB:

  • 1761 Action – Smooth, reliable, ergonomic, and easy to operate
  • 5061 Trigger – Delivers an exceptional 2-stage pull and can be finely adjusted for pull weight
  • Barrel – Heavy profile with muzzle crown
  • Stock – Monte Carlo style with raised cheekpiece and Schnabel forend
