Description
The Crispi Anchor Point Boot was built from the ground up to provide comfort and withstand the rigors of wildland firefighting. They come equipped with the Defender outsole which is highly resistant to heat and provides excellent traction across a wide range of rough terrain. To promote greater comfort, the Anchor Point features the Crispi Crossbow Frame (C.C.F.). This innovative midsole functions similar to a crossbow (hence the name) and follows a particular form in a waving module which offers a perfect stability, sustaining the foot and, at the same time, absorbing the shocks during the walk. The main boot features the Crispi greased water repellant Nubuck for the upper for durability and roughout suede on the ankle for added comfort, and the Gore-Tex liner found on many of Crispi's other boots has been replaced with a full leather lining. The Board Lasting Mechanical Construction achieves the perfect connection between torsion rigidity and flexibility thanks to a mechanical process that wraps the comfortable and soft part of the upper to the insole frame. Additionally, the Anchor Point Boots also features Crispi's proprietary Thermo Wire Technology to promote greater stability, ankle support, and protection without any unnecessary weight.
