Description
CVA sets a new standard for Muzzleloaders with the Paramount Pro series. Available in the flat shooting .45 caliber and the heavy hitting .50 caliber, the Paramount Muzzleloaders were specifically designed to handle super magnum power charges and can produce muzzle velocities on par with centerfire rifles when used with Blackhorn 209 powder. The .50 caliber variation comes standard with a Micro-Adjust Williams peep sight while the .45 caliber version is drilled and tapped to accept iron sights or scope mounts. Both variations come standard with a custom Grayboe stock that features an adjustable cheek rest to ensure proper alignment between the shooter’s eye and a mounted optic/iron sights. The stock also features a spacer system for making adjustments to length-of-pull as well as a hand-painted camo pattern.
One of the Paramount Pro’s more notable features is its unique bolt-action. This action utilizes a spring-loaded self-headspacing bolt that tightly seals the breech plung, thus eliminating blowback. The action is effortlessly disassembled without the use of tools, and is easy to clean. In addition, the Paramount Pro comes equipped with a premium TriggerTech trigger that can be finely adjusted for weight.
