Kowa’s Prominar TSN-66 was designed for individuals who need to travel light without sacrificing image quality. This high-performance optic delivers the level of detail and clarity typically found on significantly larger spotting scopes. Proudly made in Japan, the TSN-66 comes equipped with the pure fluoride crystal lenses and optimized lens coatings that Kowa optics are known for. This gives the TSN-66 a richly detailed image that can be best described as a true-to-life representation of the natural world. The large 66mm objective lens ensures high light transmission across the entire visible spectrum and images are free of chromatic aberrations and other negative optical distractions for a more immersive viewing experience.
In addition to its impressive optical performance, the TSN-66 is equipped with Kowa’s innovative dual focusing system. The focusing dial features two pieces – a rear wheel and a front wheel. The rear wheel is used for making fast adjustments with just a few rotations, and the front wheel can be used to make precise, ultra-fine adjustments. This dual focusing wheel is highly ergonomic, accommodates operation while wearing gloves, and is ideal for digiscoping. Other features of the TSN-66 include a 100% compatibility with Kowa’s accessory collar and bayonet mount, which provides access to a wide range of interchangeable eyepieces and accessories for unmatched versatility.
