Armasight's MNVD-51 Gen 3 Pinnacle & Sidekick Kit comes fully equipped with everything needed to navigate in low light environments as well as detect and track target and objects. This kit includes (1) MNVD-51 Gen 3 Pinnacle Night Vision Monocular, (1) Sidekick 640 Mini Thermal Monocular, (1) Team Wendy EXFIL LTP Bump Helemt, (1) Armasight by OTTE Gear Night Vision Helmet Bag, (1) Armasight G95 NVG Mount by Wilcox Industries, and (1) Rayvn Group Modualr Bridge Mount Rail system with +2 pods.

The MNVD-51 Gen 3 Pinnacle Monocular is lighter and more compact compared to the classic PVS-14. It comes in two Pinnacle image intensifier tube options: one with a minimum of 2000 FOM or a premium Pinnacle 2376 tube option which has a guaranteed minimum of 2376 FOM. Both options have roughly 50% less blemishes when compared to the Bravo series, and Zone 1 is kept almost completely clear of blemishes. Both options also utilize ghost white phosphor – the preferred option for professional users around the world. The MNVD-51 features a generous 51° field of view for maintaining situational awareness, and has a run time of up to 40 hours on either a AA alkaline battery or a CR123A battery. Additionally, the MNVD-51 Gen 3 Pinnacle can be used as either a handheld, head mounted, or helmet mounted NVD.

Just like the MNVD-51, the included Sidekick 640 Thermal Monocular can be used as a handheld device, or can be mounted to a helmet for hands-free operation. A 50 Hz frame rate ensures the Sidekick 640 is more than capable of tracking moving objects, and provide smooth panning. The heart of the Sidekick 640 is Armasight’s exclusive ArmaCORE 640x480 12 um thermal core – a high-powered sensor that can detect a human-sized heat signature at 709 meters, recognize a human-sized heat signature at 177 meters, and identify a human-sized heat signature at 111 meters. The Sidekick 640 projects these heat sources onto a high definition XGA 1024x768 display and can be viewed on multiple color palettes. This allows the user to adapt the Sidekick 640 to their preferences or to specific environments, and image quality can be improved via integrated digital enhancement.

The included Team Wendy EXFIL LTP Bump Helemt provides impact protection and a stable platform for mounting the night vision and thermal devices. For greater comfort, the EXFIL LTP Helmet features a Zorbium foam liner as well as easily adjustable Cam Lock sliders and a micro-adjustable BOA Fit System. An EXFIL Rail 3.0 allows accessories to be mounted such as a EXFIL Ballistic Visor and the EXFIL Face Shield. The MNVD-51 and Sidekick 640 attach to the helmet via the Rayvn Group Modular Bridge Mount and the G95 NVG Mount. The Rayvn Group Modular Bridge Mount attaches to the G95 Mount, which is then attached to the helmet. The Modular Bridge Mount features a fully articulating bridge system with a unique pod-on-rail design, allowing the user to slide pods into any position without the use of tools. This design also allows easy Inter-Pupillary Distance (IPD) adjustability as well as the ability to switch a single device setup from left to right eye or vice versa. Additionally, the G95 NVG Mount features a “break away” feature that disconnects NVD from the base to reduce the chance of neck injury.
