GAIM’s Hunting Package delivers the most versatile and convenient way to practice and improve your shooting and hunting skills. The GAIM Hunting Package is designed for use with either a Gen 1 or Gen 2 Meta Quest 2 Headset (sold separately), and provides a hunting experience rivaled only by an actual hunt. This package includes (1) GAIM Wooden Rifle Stock, (1) Gen 2 Trigger, and (1) GAIM Software bundle. The GAIM Wooden Stock is the correct dimensions of an actual rifle stock, and was made by real rifle stock manufacturer in Italy. The Meta Quest Controller attaches to the front of the stock and provides accurate tracking of the rifle’s position for ultra-realistic rifle handling characteristics. The GAIM Gen 2 Trigger was designed to be as close to an actual firearm trigger as possible and can be adjusted to the user’s trigger travel preferences.
To maximize realism and provide a more immersive experience, the GAIM Hunting Package utilizes the advanced SimPro module. This software offers anatomically correct animals with accurate hit zones, and features a ballistics engine that emulates the performance of real firearms. With the SimPro, the user can also select a wide variety of different hunting scenarios, and choose different game including wild bore, red stag, fox, and waterfowl. To make the experience even more authentic, the Hunting Package also features rules based on actual hunting laws such as out of season animals and forbidden shooting angles. By making the user positively identify and take into account the background of their target, this features helps build and reinforce hunting and gun safety skills. Other features of the Hunting Package include a full-blown shooting analyzer. After each shot is taken, the user can review factors such as shot placement, barrel movement, user marksmanship, and the speed of the shot. In addition, the Hunting Package features the GAIM Steel & Time Challenge, which provides access to a virtual shooting range to help improve accuracy.
