Description
The Vudu 1-6x24mm Riflescope by EOTech is equally suited for use with bolt-action rifles as well as AR-type platforms, and comes equipped with the exclusive features that EOTech is known for. It features a one-piece construction of aircraft grade aluminum and nitrogen purging to prevent internal fogging. The lenses are made from XC high-density, low-dispersion glass multiple lens coatings to reduce light reflections, enhance light transmission, and provide superior edge-to-edge clarity. Both the windage and elevation turrets are exposed, allowing the user to make adjustments in the field, and provide an audible and tactile click to assist the shooter in making proper point-of-impact corrections. Other features of the Vudu 1-6x24mm include the advanced SR2 illuminated reticle in the first focal plane. The SR2 reticle specifically calibrated for .308 Winchester cartridges, and is composed of a precise, 1.5 MOA free floating center dot in the middle of full circle. Directly below the circle are hold over points to compensate for bullet drop at 400, 500, and 600 yards. This entire configuration is located in the middle of EOTech’s innovative Speed Ring. When set to low magnification, the Speed Ring can be used to quickly acquire and engage targets at close range. At high magnification, the Speed Ring disappears, allowing the shooter to use the SR2’s holdover points to compensate for bullet drop at extended ranges.
