Description
The P220 Legion is an optimized version of one of Sig Sauer’s most popular handguns, and is chambered in the potent 10mm Auto. It comes outfitted with Sig’s proprietary Legion gray coating, which gives the handgun excellent resistance to corrosion and weathering, as well as giving the pistol a sleek appearance. In terms of ergonomics, the P220 Legion utilizes custom G10 grips with the Legion medallion, these grips feature texturing in strategic areas and offer a sizable palm swell that comfortably fills the user’s hands. The ergonomics are enhanced even further thanks to a reduced and contoured Elite Beavertail and X-Five undercut on the trigger guard – together, these features promotes a higher grip, increase the control, and reduce the profile to completely eliminate printing. To ensure the utmost reliability, the P220 Legion is equipped with an enhanced polished action that delivers flawless feeding/extraction of cartridges, and a Short Rest P-SAIT Trigger designed by Grayguns Inc. makes follow up shots quick and precise. To promote superior accuracy in low light situations, the P220 Legion’s stainless steel slide features X-RAY3 Day/Night Sights. The slide also utilizes aggressive front and rear cocking serrations to provide greater purchase when racking the action, clearing the weapon, or performing press checks. Other features of the P220 Legion include low-profile controls to reduce the risk of snagging on loose clothing/equipment, and a de-cocking lever allows the hammer to be lowered safely. In addition, the P220 Legion features a solid steel guide rod for added weight to cut down on recoil.
