Continuing Cooper’s tradition of craftsmanship and quality, the M52 Open Country Long Range comes outfitted with Cooper exclusive features that lesser rifles fail to include. The hand-laid synthetic stock is lightweight, yet highly durable, and is reinforced with both carbon fiber and Kevlar. To reduce weight even further, both the barrel and bolt are fluted. The M52 Open Country Long Range also utilizes multiple user-friendly features such as a “pineapple” style bolt knob to make bolt manipulations easy even when wearing gloves, and a conveniently located magazine release speeds up reload time. In addition, the M52 Open Country Long Range has a loaded chamber indicator on the rear of the bolt for an added level of safety, and the single-stage trigger can be finely tuned to the user’s preference.
