Description

Pulsar’s Merger XQ35 is the latest version of the renowned Merger thermal binocular line. It offers the same combination of thermal imaging technology with a the design of classic daytime binoculars, but features a wide array of upgrades. Perhaps the most notable improvement of the Merger XQ35 is a new European made Lynred 384x288 17 µm thermal sensor. This detector is capable of detecting the slightest temperature variations (NETD <25 mK) and can pick up heat signatures from an astounding 1350 yards away. The Lynred sensor excels in adverse conditions, revealing the smallest temperature differences even is rain, fog and high atmospheric humidity at the observation site. The increased detection range and sensitivity levels allows the operator to identify trophy characteristics, anatomy, behavioral traits, and other features of game from long range. The Lynred 384x288 17 µm thermal sensor’s advanced capabilities are further improved by the 3 levels of sensitivity amplification. This function combines innovative filtration algorithms with fine brightness/contrast adjustments provide far greater definition and clear rendering of objects in the background. Heat signatures detected by the Merger XQ35 are projected onto a high-contrast HD AMOLED display, and are viewable in 8 different color palettes, allowing the user to select the best option for the given situation. An innovative feature of the Merger XQ35’s display is a proximity sensor. This function deactivates the display when in standby to prevent the backlight of the eye pieces from spooking game, and immediately activates the display when the binoculars are brought to the user’s eyes.

Like its predecessor, the Merger LRF XQ35 is outfitted with a wide array of other features. The use of dual eye pieces accommodates observation for longer periods of time with reduced eye strain, and ergonomic controls promotes intuitive operation. An integrated precision laser rangefinder provides accurate measurements over 1000 yards away, and continuous scanning modes with tremendous accuracy provide quick and error-free target distance assessment. The Merger also comes standard with built-in video and photo recording capabilities and 16 GB of free space on cloud storage. The Merger’s improved Wi-Fi connectivity with 2.4/5 GHZ waveband support yields seamless connection to the Stream Vision 2 app, available for both Android and iOS devices.
