Description
QuietKat’s Ranger eBike was built from the ground up for backcountry adventures. It comes equipped with a 1000w hub-drive motor that delivers direct power to the rear wheel independent from the chain for consistent power in all gears. The motor can be set to 5 levels of pedal assist, allowing the Ranger to easily overcome moderate inclines, haul heavy gear, and power through unforgiving landscapes. Alternatively, the Ranger can be set to the throttle mode to power the bike without pedaling – this mode can also be used to keep going even if the chain breaks – and a walk assist mode to make pushing the bike while dismounted easier. The Ranger is powered by a 16Ah battery that gives the bike a range of 24 to 48 miles*, but this can be upgraded to a 17.25Ah battery for additional range and power. Both versions of the battery can be charged anywhere via the included wall charger or by a mobile charger (sold separately) or a solar charger (sold separately). The powerful motor is perfectly complemented by the heavy duty all-terrain 26" x 4.5" fat tires. These provide optimal stability as well as superior traction in adverse terrain such as soft sand, snow, mud, dirt, and rocky environments. Other features of the Ranger include an built-in cargo rack to accommodate all your gear, from hunting equipment to work supplies and features an industry-leading 100 lbs hauling capacity. In addition, a set of Tektro two-piston hydraulic disc brakes with large 203mm rotors guarantee reliable braking on steep descents with heavy loads.
Note: Range is an estimate and depends on a variety of real-world conditions including but not limited to weight, terrain, tire pressure, terrain, temperature, and wind.
