Crispi's Briksdal MTN GTX Boots feature a fully synthetic construction, but deliver the structure and support of a full leather boot. Instead of leather, the Briksdal MTN GTX utilizes a brushed micro fiber synthetic construction as well as durable high performance PUtek fabric to ensure breathability and abrasion resistance. Measuring in at a full 9" tall, the Briksdal MTN GTX significantly reduces the risk of busted-up ankles during long, heavy packouts or in steep broken terrain. The tongue is made with a stretch nylon material that breaths well and aids in heat dispersion. The lacing is extended and is asymmetrical in design – this allows you to customize the lacing to fit the shape of your foot and provides more stability especially in steep, rocky terrain. Stability is further enhanced with Crispi's A.B.S.S. (Ankle Bone Support System). Designed over the course of several years, the A.B.S.S. provides comfort and protection to the entire ankle area thanks to a combination of innovative materials to allow the footwear to contour gently your ankle. This system offers outstanding sprain protection even on the roughest terrain whilst supporting the ankle in all conditions, thus limiting fatigue on the lower joints after long walks. The Board Lasting Mechanical Construction achieves the perfect connection between torsion rigidity and flexibility thanks to a mechanical process that wraps the comfortable and soft part of the upper to the insole frame. Additionally, the Briksdal MTN GTX is equipped with Gore Tex waterproofing to keep your feet dry as well as 200g of insulation to keep you warm.
