Blaser's R8 Professional Success Stock Receiver was designed to deliver superior ergonomics and enhance the shooter's accuracy. It utilizes a unique thumbhole design, this provides an improved grip on the rifle when compared to traditional stocks, as the shooter can slip their thumb through the stock instead of wrapping their thumb overtop of the stock. The thumbhole aperture is considerably large for a relaxed shooting posture in virtually any shooting position and allows the user quick access to the R8's cocking/un-cocking lever. In addition, the R8 Professional Success features fine leather inlays on the pistol grip and fore-end for a better grip and a highly aesthetic appearance.
