Vortex Diamondback Tactical is probably not the best reticle/scope for a person who primarily hunts, but is really great for a long distance shooter who would rather use the subtents and wind dots than dial. I'm the latter, and began with typical BDC reticles and upgraded to christmas tree type reticle, because I find that I don't get left hanging in free air trying to manage drop and wind with what amounts to Kentucky windage with a little help from BDC. Either way you need good ballistic data, on a range card or cell phone to make shots past 500 yds. I have really good vision for a 73 yr old, but like Vortex for their glass, their dialing mechanics, and the Warranty. My max range is 800 yds at my gun club, and a zero MOA rail + Diamondback + good ballistic data(Vortex Long Range) does it all.

I put this on a Tactical AR 10 and it is working very nicely. I am shooting well out to 200 Yards. It is not a top of the line scope, but it meets my needs and I would recommend it!!!

It's Vortex. Simple as that. Worth the money. Great experience as always through EuroOptics.

Great scope at this price point. The Vortex warranty is top notch, should you need it.

You just cant go wrong with a vortex. Clear glass and never had an issue with them but its nice to have a lifetime warranty.

A great scope for the dollar value, only thing that would enhance it is "zero stop".

Ordered 2, the glass clarity on both is excellent, however neither will track, one moves poi right 1 mil every 300 yards or so dialing, the other adjust fine in small increments but after dialing 9 mills for a long range shot it moved over 4 mills windage when returned to the starting point. Can't return them, and they don't make good paperweights.
