Long range Texas hill country hunter

Don’t waste your time. There’s so much wobble just pile up marbles and you’ll get a more stable platform. There’s way too much play in each setting. No way to fix it. Just poor tolerance and a bad design. And it has high gloss paint. Why would you want high gloss?!?

I really want to like this monopod, but when it's at 45 degrees it folds up under recoil almost every shot. It does make follow up shots problematic. When it is at 90 degrees it stays put, but it's not always ideal to have the stock that high off of the ground. I have it mounted on a 300 win mag S20. Other than that it's a nice monopod.

The device is well manufactured but not well designed. It adjusts well but it wobbles way too much. I removed it and am using a much more stable rear bag. Don't get it.

This is a hefty piece of hardware, well-designed and functional. Not that It only fits the precision buttstock-not on the hunter piece. It is worth having for range use when sighting- in, and the buttstock is so nicely adjustable sans the precision forend that you won't miss the big thumbhole. Aligning m-lock placements is a pain in the butt (pun intended) but worth the effort).

Great option for my S20. Unfortunately, there was no mention in any of the literature I saw that indicated this option would only fit on the tactical precision rifle stock. Not a real problem but had to change out the rife stock to accept this option.

This monopod is well built and fits like a glove. It has helped when stretching the range on my S20. Only thing knocking the review down one star is the price. I guess I shouldn’t complain, I knew the price when I ordered it but it seems a bit high.
