Description

New for 2022, Tikka gives its renowned T3x rifle platform a new level of ruggedness and reliability with the T3x Super Varmint! Its barreled action features a Cerekote finish on all of its components for outstanding durability and corrosion resistance, and is outfitted with a picatinny rail allowing virtually any optic to be mounted. The barrel utilizes a heavy varmint profile, and has 5/8x24” threading to accommodate the installation of a muzzle device. The bolt assembly features spiral fluting to help cut down on weight and enhance reliability, and the bolt handle is oversized to make manipulating the action easy even when wearing gloves. The T3x Super Varmint’s stock is upgraded with Roughtech material to provide a superior grip in adverse weather conditions, and has an adjustable cheek piece for precise alignment between the shooter’s eye and the scope. In addition, the fore-grip has been widened for optimal support when shooting from a rest, and a more vertical grip promotes better wrist alignment.

The Tikka T3x Super Varmint rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor is truly a remarkable firearm. After a long-held desire for a Tikka, owning two of them now—the Tac A1 in .308 and the Super Varmint in 6.5 Creedmoor—has been a dream come true. The Super Varmint, in particular, stands out as one of the finest shooting rifles I've ever had the pleasure of using. With Hornady precision rounds, the rifle delivered exceptional accuracy, consistently grouping within a half-inch at both 100 and 200 yards—an impressive feat by any standard. When reloading with Lapua brass, the results were even more astounding, with groups so tight that locating the third hole was a challenge! Admittedly, the Super Varmint has some weight to it, but this characteristic contributes to its stability and precision on the range. If you're contemplating whether to invest in this rifle, let me assure you—it's worth every penny. Whether for precision shooting or hunting, the Tikka T3x Super Varmint excels at putting rounds exactly where you want them.
