At the price point I don’t think you could expect anything better for a ffp 1x8. The reticle is fast to acquire at low power, and at 8 power it is fine enough to shoot pretty well. If I was going to try to optimize my groups at distance I wouldn’t recommend it, but for a versatile 5.56 carbine it’s tough to beat.
Notice the 34 mm is big and heavy, but it’s a good scope. Glass is pretty clear, not amazing.

Start by saying she’s a hefty girl. Other than that I love it. Turrets feel great and line up precisely, tracking seems to be spot on, glass is incredible. The reticle is a little busy but for what this optic is for it works quite well. The adjustable diopter seems to work but realistically it’s been clear with adjustments so I don’t have anything to complain about. I use an older Accupower 1-4 on patrol and the glass/overall quality of this optic surpasses that optic tremendously. The dot in the center of the reticle is nice also and a great change from the original crosshair.

second this scope has great clarity and a great reticle. The eye relief and ease of aim have to be one of the best I have owned.

While I'm no expert on scopes, I have owned many over the years. This Credo 1x8 looks to be an excellent scope for the price. I wanted something no made in China. While I think this one is made in Japan, I thought the reticle was what I was looking for. So many other scopes similar to the Credo I thought had just too busy a reticle for my hunting purpose. I love this reticle. Plenty bright in the daylight and if battery fails, still an excellent reticle for hunting. This is my 2nd scope from the guys at Eurooptic and they are a pleasure doing business with.

Awesome glass. 1x eye box is extremely forgiving and 8x is no issue, even from prone with a 2" optical centerline on my AR. I run my stock two clicks out, handed the rifle to a range buddy and he shot it with the stock all the way out and still had no eye box issues. I never would have gotten into an optic this nice without the sale price. Grab this while you can at this price before they're gone. Be aware of weight if you're concerned about it. Also don't make the same mistake I did. Figure out if you want a piggyback or offset mount before you purchase because 34mm mount options are limited, and if you buy a mount that isn't compatible with red dot options, you'll be stuck or have to spend your money twice. I love this scope, and I'm now a Eurooptic customer for my next purchases as well.

Bought for my new build AR-10 in .308. It was worth it before the discount and almost makes me feel like I'm stealing it at this price! I'm not sure you could find glass any more clear than what Trijicon is offering in this optic at this price point. I can only detect a slight distortion on the very edges when zoomed all the way out but the center, obviously the most important part, is crystal clear and distortion free! The zoom ring is smooth but tight enough it takes a deliberate action to zoom it in or out. Turrets are tactile and audible for adjustments and tracks straight. I haven't had the opportunity to put it thru its paces yet on the range, but I have 0 doubt it's more capable than I am! I'm considering buying another for my AR-15 but, while it's a great price, I don't think my wife would be on board so readily.

I am used to NightForce rifle scopes. My son in law has owned several Trijicon products, and swears by them. This did not disappoint! I zeroed in my new HK 556 A1 ( also purchased from Eurooptic) and shot one inch groups at 300 yards. If you want a lighter scope, buy a Tasco. If you want quality, buy this Trijicon and man up.

Great optic and I got it at an amazing price!
I am giving it 4 stars for two reasons: 1. Its heavy. I paired it with the Trijicon Q-Loc mount. This thing is rock solid but its heavier than I would have liked. Durability and versatility has is trade-offs. 2. Not the clearest at 8x power. The glass is super clear right to 6-7x then seems to lose a little sharpness. Keep in mind it could just be my old eyes.
Final thoughts, I originally bought it to go on my Christiansen Arms MPP, but as much as I love it, it added a lot of weight to an otherwise lightweight hunting setup. I will be moving it over to my Aero M5 build where weight is not a concern and it will be perfect. This is my first LPVO so I cannot compare it to any other optic in this category, but I would absolutely recommend. Reticle is awesome, and easily seen in daylight.

Very nice LPVO!!! Controls are great. Very fast reticle and very clear Japan glass. This goes well with the trijicon 34mm mount. Easy to mount and very easy to zero.

Great scope, excellent glass, love the green red option. Put this on my 20 inch HBAR with the Nightforce ultramount that has the 1.93 height. Awesome set up. Glad I bought it, great value.

My son in law is a gun guy who has owned several Trijicon optics, including RMRs and ACOGs. He recommended the Credo HX 1-8 for my new HK MR556A1(which I also purchased from Eurooptic). First time out with the scope atop the HK, I had no trouble shooting a one inch group at 300 yards on an overcast day. The clarity is brilliant, and the illuminated reticle offers both green or red, which I love! Eurooptic was $400 less expensive than Amazon! What can I say? It’s why I do business with Eurooptic, and their customer service is outstanding. Yes, the optic is a bit on the heavy side, but so are my Nightforce rifle scopes! Treat yourself; you won’t be disappointed in Trijicon.
