Description
From hardcore tactical applications to recreational target shooting, March’s Compact Tactical Shorty Gen II 1-10x24mm Riflescope reigns supreme. It overall design is remarkable lightweight and low profile, weighing about the same as a water bottle, and measuring in at just over 8-inches. This first focal plane offers a “true 1x” magnification, allowing the scope to be used as a red dot sight at close range, but its 10x zoom ratio can be dialed up for targets at extended distances. Even when set to higher magnification, the Compact Tactical Shorty Gen II Riflescope delivers a clear sight picture free of chromatic aberration thanks to the use of extra-low dispersion ED lenses. Other features of the Compact Tactical Shorty Gen II Riflescope include the innovative Shuriken elevation and windage turrets. Named after the star-shaped throwing knife used by ninjas, the Shuriken turrets are lockable to prevent accidental adjustment and are color-coded for easy identification of their status with red indicating locked and white indicating unlocked. The Shuriken turrets are especially useful for making adjustments in the field, as the riflescope’s elevation zero point can be set at any position. In addition, the Compact Tactical Shorty Gen II Riflescope features a remarkably durable construction. The walls of the body are 4mm thick, allowing the scope to easily withstand impact tests up to 1000G, and Argon purging provides excellent resistance to water and fogging.
