Nice solid scope, capped turrets-but that is OK since I will be using this on a lever action for hunting. The price (on sale from Europtic) was right. Despite the "U.S." part of the brand name, note that this product is an import. Hopefully, a .45-70 cartridge will not shake it up. On the plus side: The illumination control is upgraded and features "off" stops between the incremental brightness settings. Even their user manual did not catch up with this change.
