The heart of the Jockey 640 is the ArmaCORE 640x240 12um thermal core – a powerful sensor capable of detecting human sized heat signatures at up to 709 meters away, recognizing them at 177 meters away, and identifying them at 107 meters away. The Jockey 640 projects heat sources onto a XGA 1024x768 OLED display, and are viewable in multiple color palettes to allow the unit to be adapted to individual preferences or to different environments. The Jockey 640 also features a 60 Hz frame rate for greater resolution when tracking a moving target, and integrated digital image enhancement delivers high quality images. Other features include video and image capturing abilities, which can then be transferred to a compatible device via USB-C.
