This device syncs up with select Garmin GPS Dog Training Collars (sold separately) to track and locate up to 20 dogs within a 9 mile radius. The DriveTrack 71 sets a marker for each dog overtop the contours of a topographical map or on BirdsEye Satellite Imagery, with directional cues and distances to provide the most accurate location. The DriveTrack 71 also makes an excellent GPS Navigator both on and off road by combining driver alerts, voice-activated navigation, Active Lane Navigation, and maps and traffic for North America. The DriveTrack 71 can also deliver alternative routes to avoid traffic jams, and provide real-time information regarding parking such as pricing and availability trends for on street parking.

In addition, the DriveTrack 71 can be synced up with a compatible smartphone to let you stay connected while keeping your hands on the wheel. This lets you make hands-free phone calls, see incoming notifications and texts without ever having to reach for your phone. Other features include the ability to pair with select Garmin Smartwatches (sold separately) to provide navigation and driver alerts on your wrist, and can also be used to guide you back to your vehicle in a crowded parking lot. The DriveTrack 71 is also outfitted with TripAdvisor, allowing you to view ratings for points of interest such as hotels, restaurants, and other attractions along the way or near your destination.
