Vortex SPARC AR Red Dot (2 MOA Bright Red Dot) SPC-AR2

The product is Exactly what I expected, was not available to order online or purchase in store from any other retailer I could find and delivery of the item was exceptionally timely.

I purchased this to be paired with the Vortex 3x magnifier. Unfortunately, the 3x magnifier is nearly unusable for me due to the terribly short eye relief (~2"), which makes it nearly unusable and very uncomfortable on an upper with BUIS sights. There's nothing particularly wrong with this red dot, but had I known how bad the Vortex 3x magnifier was, I would have rather stuck with a single brand like the Bushnell Trophy TRS-25 paired with the Bushnell 3x magnifier, which boasts a 3.75" eye relief. I also really dislike the on-off and brightness buttons on this red dot. They are located on the rear of the unit, so if you pair it with a 3x magnifier, the red dot is impossible to power on, power off, or adjust brightness unless you flip your magnifier to the side. Yes, you can position it further down the rail, but putting this on a pistol, I have a very short rail and don't want one sight on the handguard and the other on the receiver. I like to run my red dots as close as possible to the magnifier, and the power buttons on this unit make it really inconvenient.
