Scope seems very well made. Good clarity and brightness. Turrets are quality. Illumination can be seen during middle of the day. I really like the scope, but not fond of Athlon right now. Let me explain. I can't give the scope a less than stellar rating just because I think Athlon can't think of the little things. I spend this much money on a quality scope and Athlon can't include scope covers? Really? I have bought tons of scopes over the years from multiple brands and every one of them (except Burris - but it was their cheapest version, so I didn't complain) came with scope covers. Leaves a bitter taste in my mouth which will be hard to forget next time I buy a scope. I will probably stick with the bigger optics names who include the small stuff like scope covers, sun shades, etc. When spending a lot of money on a scope, the little things do matter.
