Description
CZ USA takes rimfire performance to the next level with the 457 Varmint AT-ONE. Equipped with the Boyd’s AT-ONE stock, this rifle can be finely tuned to fit the user’s preferred length of pull (between 12.5” and 14.25”) and cheek height (up to 5/8”) with the push of a button. This wide range of adjustability makes the 457 Varmint AT-ONE an ideal trainer for shooters of all ages. The Boyd’s AT-ONE stock also provides a solid foundation for the action and barrel, and a wide fore-end is perfect for riding sandbags. The barrel itself is cold hammer forged and is in the heavy profile, with 1/2x28” threads at the muzzle for use with a suppressor. The 457 Varmint AT-ONE’s bolt features a 60-degree throw, this was chosen to increase scope compatibility especially on scopes with a larger ocular bell and lower ring heights. Under the recommendation of US Hunter’s Education instructors and 4-H shooting coaches, the 457 Varmint AT-ONE is outfitted with an American-style push-to-fire safety – a configuration that American shooters are more accustom to. In addition, the 457 Varmint AT-ONE features a fully adjustable trigger, and an 11mm dovetail for installing optics.

Customer Reviews
Had to send it back to CZ right off the bat. The threads for attaching a muzzle device were not machined concentrically to the bore. When installed, both my suppressor and the thread protector were cockeyed and left a gap by the flat by the thread neck fillet. Had I attempted to shoot with the suppressor installed, I would have had a baffle strike. At that point, I decided to not even shoot it and submitted for an RMA. Frankly, the defect is one that should have been spotted in the factory as it can be seen by the naked eye when installing the thread protector. The Boyd's AT-ONE stock seems nice, but the length of pull adjustment is more difficult to deal with than it should be; the spring that holds the butt in place is too stiff. The comb adjustment was easier to move, however. Once everything was in place, it did feel solid and the balance felt pretty good, too. It would be nice to have more than one QD mount so the front sling swivel could be dedicated to a bipod. Right now, I am disappointed, but we will see how it does when I get it back from CZ.
