Upgrade your AR15 with the QUATTRO-15 Lower Receiver and the QUATTRO-15 Magazine by DesertTech. The receiver itself features a drop-in design, and is compatible with all standard AR15 upper receivers. Once installed, QUATTRO-15 Magazines can be used, but standard AR15 magazines can be used as well with the use on an adapter. The only proprietary parts are the magazine release and bolt catch, other than that, the QUATTRO-15 Lower Receiver is compatible with all other standard AR15 parts.
The QUATTRO-15 Magazine on the other hand is a quad-stack magazine with a capacity of 53 rounds. The benefit of this configuration is the ability to carry more ammunition with fewer magazines. For example: four QUATTRO-15 Magazines can hold 212 rounds, while seven standard magazines will only hold 210 rounds. This translates to more shooting and less reloading. To overcome the issues often faced by quad-stacked magazines, the QUATTRO-15 Magazine utilizes a simple yet highly reliable single follower and a single spring design.
