EOTech’s HHS VI Holographic Hybrid Sight delivers maximum versatility on targets at close to medium range. This low profile optical system has two parts – the HWS EXPS3-2 and the G43 magnifier. For targets at close range, the operator can use the HWS EXPS3-2. This holographic sight accommodates shooting with both eyes open for faster target acquisition and enhanced situational awareness, and features a 7mm raised quick detach base for a lower 1/3 iron sight co-witness. The HWS EXPS3-2 features 20 daytime illumination levels as well as 10 night vision settings (for Gen I through Gen III). Other features of the HWS EXPS3-2 include EOTech’s exclusive Two-Dot reticle. Perfectly calibrated for 62 grain .223 rounds, this reticle features a 68 MOA ring with a pair of 1 MOA dots in the center. The top dot is for targets at 50 to 200 yards, the dot below is for targets at 500 yards, and a post at the bottom of the ring is for close range targets at 7 yards.

For targets at longer ranges, the shooter can switch to the G43 magnifier. The G43 takes much of its design from EOTech’s battel-tested G33, offering the same high performance in a smaller, lighter, package. When not in use, the G43 folds off to the side to allow the operator to use the HWS EXPS3-2 for close range targets. For shooting at extended ranges, the G43 can be instantly deployed to provide an additional 3x of magnification. Like the HWS EXPS3-2, the G43 features a 7mm raised quick detach mount to ensure perfect alignment. In addition, the G43 and HWS EXPS3-2 both feature compact designs and require very little rail space.

There is a reason why the Eotech exps3 is king of the red dots HWS; phenomenal quality on every level. I have RDS from all budget tiers and this one is by far my favorite. Crisp, clear, and great for anyone with an astigmatism. The build quality is truly mind blowing. Purchasing through Europtic’s hyper competitive praises is seriously a no brainer. The 2-day shipping is true to their marketing and blazing fast order processing and shipping than any other similar vendor, IMO. Ordered on a Sunday and hit my doorstep on a Wednesday. Extremely impressive efficiency by this business. If EU had all the rifle/firearm parts available, I would honestly do most of my shopping here. This business stays true to their competitive pricing and fast shipping nature, something fundamentally missing from many other online vendors these days unfortunately. Back to the product. If you’re in the market to get a HWS RDS and magnifier, shopping this combo at Europtic is the most reasonable and cost effective choice. If you’re looking at Eotech , you likely have done your research. About the G43. I did my research with this eotech magnifier, and conclude at EU’s pricing the G43 is worth it to me. Anything more and a counter argument could be made. As per any other review out there, it is heavier than the G33 and due to the shorter housing, eye relief is a bit rough. I could move the G43 back on my rail but that would sacrifice my BUS. Something to consider. I don’t know if this is even a HHS combo that Eotech offers, but if they had a EXPS3-2 and G45 (not the EXPS3-4 combo that is sold here) I likely would have scooped that instead. Nonetheless, the G43 suits my needs as I prefer the 3x midrange anyways. Mine is equipped on an SBR so I have no need to push out further. If you’re trying to stretch out further for 400+ yd engagement, I would recommend stepping up to g45. Overall, if you’re trying to save money and do it right from the getgo (rds hsw and magnifier), I highly recommend this HHS through the venerable Europtic. Eurooptic, please keep up the great work and service!
