Description

The SCRS-RD-2 (Solar Charging Rifle Sight) advances Holosun’s SCS technology creating an all-new, ultra compact 20mm tube sight designed for rifle applications. The SCRS features multi-directional light sensors and an advanced Auto Mode for automatic reticle intensity settings, as well as a Manual Mode for manual control of dot intensity. Built from 7075 aluminum, the SCRS offers extreme durability, and utilizes Holosun’s 509T footprint for compatibility with third party offset RDS mounts. The SCRS-RD-MRS features a red 2-MOA reticle.

These little mRDS are great value and perfect for piggybacking or offset mounting, they even make a great primary sight on lightweight rifles/subguns. I'd like to know if they're durable enough to be slide mounted as I think they'd make a fantastic low cost option for an enclosed handgun optic compared to the 509T or Acro etc. They are shorter in length than the 509T so they do not "fill" a 509T cut on a handgun slide, but they do mount up.
