I purchased mine from a different dealer, but this is an incredible scope for some field target shooters. The obvious top placement of the large focus ring coaxial with the elevation knob moves it out of the way of cocking and loading. The optics are first rate and the entire reticle is illuminated and BRILLIANT! The biggest advantage to field target shooters are for those shooting WFTF class. The bottom of the reticle is marked with a subtension ranging grid. The shooter aligns one edge of the 40mm killzone on the center bar and just reads the range from the other edge of the killzone. If you can hold it steady long enough to read, you've got your range. The other ranging feature of this scope is the non-linear focus adjustment cam. Kahles has built in a mechanical cam that yields a more spread-out range tape at the far end. There is just about the same distance on the tape between 30 and 40 yards as there is between 40 and 50 yards. This is like having a "comma" focus wheel built into the scope. Of course this works in other classes besides WFTF. Overall, it's hard to beat great optics and these ranging features.
