Kimber is known for creating some of the highest quality 1911 handguns available, and the KHX Custom is no exception. The slide has been milled to accept the optics plates for Vortex and Trijicon red dots, and the iron sights have been raised for co-witnessing. The front strap is equipped with stiplex checkering to provide a solid grip, and heavy duty serrations on the front and rear of the slide allows for positive cocking manipulation.
