Kowa sets a new standard for long-range observation with the TSN-88 Spotting Scope. This advanced optic builds upon the success of previous Kowa designs, but is outfitted with a wide array of upgrades to deliver exceptional optical performance. It utilizes a pure fluorite crystal objective lens as well as optimized coatings on both the lenses and prism. This combination results in increased light transmission across all wavelengths of light and across the entire color spectrum, producing a brilliant image with natural color and revealing subtle tones and hues in stunning detail. The pure fluorite crystal objective lens and coatings also minimize chromatic aberration and other negative optical distractions. Another defining feature of the TSN-88 is innovative dual focus mechanism, which is composed of two focus wheels stacked on top of each other. The dual focus feature provides two focusing methods: Quick Focus, and Fine Focus. The Quick Focus allows the user to rapidly refine image quality with just a few smooth turns of the wheel, while the Fine Focus can be used to pin-point the level of focus with ultra-fine adjustments.
In addition to its impressive optical quality and innovative inner mechanisms, the TSN-88 comes fully equipped with a multitude of secondary features in improve operation of the scope. Eyepieces can swiftly swapped out thanks to the quick-release eyepiece button, and an accessory collar on the eyepiece mount allows for quick connection of current Kowa System accessories such as digiscopeing adapters and extenders. The TSN-88 also utilizes a dual tripod mount which helps prevent the scope from slipping or rotating on the tripod shoe for enhanced stability during long periods of use. Furthermore, the TSN-88 is available in straight and angled configurations, as well as included eyepieces.
