Description

Leica’s Geovid Pro 32 brings a whole new level of optical performance and rangefinding abilities in one of the smallest and lightest packages available. The Geovid Pro 32’s versatility extends to literally any shooter or hunter, from rifle to bow, and delivers high performance in any environment, distance, and elevation. The Geovid Pro 32 can be linked with a smartphone, and when using the Leica Ballistics App, the user can create specific ballistic profiles which can then be transferred directly to the binoculars. After the profiles are transferred, the Geovid Pro 32 can use its advanced rangefinder and on-board Applied Ballistics software to calculate a precise ballistic solution on targets up to 875 yards away. This solution is based on factors including range, equivalent horizontal range, holdover units, and number of clicks. To ensure the most accurate ballistic solution, the Geovid 32 Pro is outfitted with an array of environmental sensors to detect factors such as air pressure, temperature, and angles. The rangefinder itself delivers exceptionally short measuring time at enormous distances up to 2,500 yards. Thanks to the latest in Bluetooth connectivity, the Geovid Pro 32 can connect with additional accessories such as Garmin’s line of smartwatches, and Kestrel Weather Meters for even more accurate ballistic solutions and ranging.

One of the Geovid Pro 32’s more notable features is Leica’s exclusive ProTrack technology. This proprietary feature can guide the user to the location of whatever they ranged – even without cell reception. This GPS mapping integration is made possible through the use of Basemap, Google maps, and Garmin mapping.

Have had for one year now. Went up through 1600, 1600 B, Geovid HD-B, 3200.com's and now the 10x32 Pro's.. Life just keeps getting better and better. On their own they are great. Bluetoothed to a Kestrel 5700 Elite, they are unstoppable. 10m bluetoothe range! Hunting or competition they cannot be beat. Last Fall, buck at 588 yds. I'd taken wind direction/speed 15 minutes earlier. Put the Kestrel in my chest pouch. Buck appeared minutes before end of legal light. No time to get closer and it was last day of season. Pulled the Pro's out, hit the range button to turn them on. Did the same for the Kestrel. Bluetoothed within 1-2 seconds. Ranged the buck and had drop/wind with 1 second. Went prone and dropped him. Two weeks later. Pretty much similar scenario. Go on station before light. Took wind and direction with Kestrel. Put in chest pouch. 30 minutes later groups of elk were headed back to private land. No time! Turned the Kestrel on. Turned the Pro's on and hit the range button. Dope and wind....NOW! Went prone and dropped largest cow at 630 yds before she got onto private. Prepping my 300 PRC/208 LRX combination for a coveted Limited Entry bull elk hunt. First impacts at 550, 800, 1060 and 1117 yds using just the dope showing through the Pro's eye piece. Now for competion. NRL Hunter matches. I can bluetoothe connect Pro to Kestrel and to HUD simultaneously. In Hunter matches, upto 4 targets. On the clock, locate, range, dope and shoot within 4 minutes. The Pro's make it feel like cheating. Back in March, Hunter match with 100% snow on bright sunny day (extremely tough ranging). 100% ranging capability while other brands/models failed time and again. NRL22X matches. Up to 10 targets in one course of fire. Bluetooth Pro's, Kestrel and Kestrel HUD simultaneously. 10 different yardages, directions and angles.....all show up on the HUD. Does it get any better? Oh yeah. When I put the buck down he was across a large canyon. Took a laser shot givng me distance and direction to the buck. Bluetoothed to my Android cell phone with the Basemap app. By the time I got to the buck it was dark. The Basemap took me right to the buck, in the dark. If my Pro's broke or were stolen tomorrow, i'd buy a new pair within a month. Hang the cost. I've got a big bull hunt in November!

This is a fantastic and compact RF binocular. The new software and bluetooth connectivity is state of the art and much better than my Geovid HD-B it's replacing. Using the Leica/Applied ballistics app is simple and allows you to upload your BC and store several on your phone and easily change them out. I use it without a kestrel, the onboard computer uses AB light and is simple and works perfectly. The optics are excellent. Compared to my Swaro EL 8x32 it gives up some field of view and slight reduction in edge clarity but the 10x magnification makes it a more useful hunting optic and it is very bright- 30 min after sundown looking into woods it was equal to the Swaro. Great price from EO as well, I'm very happy with the purchase.
