Was recently in the market for a new set of 10x42 binos. I am very particular and don’t rush into decisions. My budget was $500-$1,000. I looked at several models from Vortex, Meopta, Nikon and Leupold. The online reviews favored the Vortex Vipers and the Meopta Meostar/Meopros. A friend in my deer lease let me borrow his Vipers for a day to try them out. Also had a chance to try Meopros and Meostars side by side. Because of my favorable ownership experience with some 8x32 Leupold BX3 Mojaves, felt like I had to give the Pro Guide HD BX4 10x42s a look. I had already purchased the Meopros, but returned them on receipt of the Leupolds. I felt like the Leupolds were equally bright and the edge to edge clarity, diopter and center focus adjustment, general design and quality was superior. Was surprised, actually wanted to like the Meoptas better as I got a really good deal on them. Living happily ever after, no second thoughts. EuroOptic was great to deal with, quick ship.
