My demo model was in great shape. It had one small scuff on the bottom of the tube. It also had some grease or oil around the front bell joint (maybe it was disassembled at one point?).
The glass seems very bright, the magnification dial moves easily and smoothly, and the elevation turret adjustment is fairly tactile. The windage dial feels very mushy, but it's not a tactical turrets, so you won't be using that for field adjustments anyway.

Needed a new scope to throw on my old Remington 700 and this fell within my budget. Clicks on the elevation turret are very very nice, on par or better than my Vortex Razor HD genII, in my opinion. The windage turret is lacking though, the adjustments are very mushy and it isn't going to be useful for dialing wind so keep it capped after zero. The biggest gripe I have is the difference in eye relief between the lowest magnification and the highest magnification (look at the specs listed). When mounting the scope make sure you mount it to the appropriate eye relief of the magnification you will most likely use (in my case that is 8x-12x) and understand you will not be able to use the lower magnifications without moving your head to an "unnatural" position. Glass is of good quality, I have no issues with it but I'm also not a glass snob ( I am a snob about my turrets though). As others have said the reticle is a bit thick but not enough to inhibit shooting, though I could foresee it becoming a problem on smaller targets at longer distances.

Read a lot of reviews and most people pointed out the thickness of the reticle. It is on the thicker side, but not enough to regret buying it. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one In the future.

Very nice scope, good glass. Adjustments are very good and repeatable. If I had to change one thing it would be the thickness of the crosshairs, they are thick and difficult to use on small targets past 200yds. I was shooting a 4-inch steel target set at 260 yds. The crosshairs blocked out the target. Still a very good scope.

I mounted this scope on a .257 Weatherby Magnum caliber Merkel K3, and it gives me a decent look at any animal I choose to hunt in Montana, without weighing down the rifle or making its balance unwieldy. I like the quality of the optics and the ruggedness of the product, and I would buy this brand anytime.

This scope is a good deal. Well made, glass is good. I put this on a Zastava M90 5.56. This or an AK type rifle would probably be best as the reticle's lines are prominent compared to a Nightforce or higher end Leupold. They work very well with battle rifles such as the AK. The thickness makes precision shooting at ranges 200 yds or more difficult. This is the same issue with Trijicon (non ACOG) scopes. I would buy it again.
