Leupold RM CZ 550 30mm High Matte 177362

I got the rings and they were just as shown on the web page, flat black finish and very nice machining with the screws that had locking compound on the threads. All was good until I began mounting the scope. One of the holes on the rear ring (for CA 550 magnum in 416 Rigby) was very tight and the screw would not tighten up without damage. I had to re-tap the hole and clean it out. It seemed to have a burr or debris or bad threading. The screw then did go in but still a little tight, requiring more than a usual of effort to seat and finally tighten the scope body. This is very unusual for Leupold products to have a defect from the factory. I didn't want to return or get another one so I corrected the issue myself. I would definitely buy again because I trust their products. I just hope I didn't get a China copy because of this issue.
