Purchased this rail to go with a Sphur mount and a Schmidt & Bender 3-12x50 Klassik scope. The front portion of the rail sticks too far forward, causing the bell of the front part of the scope to hit before you can get proper eye relief. I now have to have the front milled off and reblued. If I go to higher rings it puts the scope to high. I believe ERA-TAC makes a shorter mount, not advertised here....57050-002L. FWIW.
