Description

New for 2020, the feature-rich S20 Precision is the next generation of Sako precision rifle. By its nature, the Sako S20 is a modular rifle that is designed to allow the shooter to change its stock configuration to meet their needs. The S20 Precision features a stock designed specifically for those who are interested in recreational and competitive precision shooting. The rear of the S20 Precision’s stock features a recoil pad that is adjustable for height, angle, and length of pull (using spacers). The underside of the stock has an M-LOK attachment point for monopod placement or a bag rider. The S20 stock also features a quick-adjust cheekpiece to ensure perfect eye alignment with mounted optics. The Sako S20 Precision ships with a 10 round (7 for magnum calibers) Cartridge Plus magazine, that provides extra length for reloaders. The forend of the S20 Precision features additional M-LOK attachment points for the mounting of bipods and barricade stops.

The Sako S20's stainless steel action is brand new and features a 3-lug, push feed bolt with plunger ejection to maximized reliability. The Cerakoted receiver of the S20 features a machined Picatinny rail that allows for the easy mounting of riflescopes. The trigger of the S20 is adjustable for pull weight and for position within the trigger guard (± 7mm) to ensure an absolute perfect length of pull for the shooter. The barrel of the S20 is made from stainless steel and fluted to reduce weight and barrel cool down time. The muzzle of the rifle is 5/8x24 threaded, allowing for the addition of muzzle devices like suppressors or brakes.

This 7mm Rem Mag is my second S20 from Eurooptic. I own dozens or bolt rifles and find the Sako's S20 the best quality and accuracy you'll find for the money, especially with Eurooptic prices. I ran one box of Hornaday Whitetail ammo through the gun for the brass since none was available. S20 shot sub MOA with this average ammo. My first reloads with 168 gr VLDs and IMR 4831 shot 1/2" MOA! I've been reloading for 40+ years and never had that happen, You will love this gun if you buy it.

Best rifle I've ever shot. I wanted to spend some time reloadinding and dialing this thing in before reviewing it. I've taken this thing through around 300 rounds now, including four factory loads, and 3 different hand loads, 162 grain hornady, 168 grain berger, and 175 grain berger elite hunter. I'll try to keep this short. LOVE this gun. It shot okay with factory remington core lokt tipped but not great. .63, with hand loads, two weeks ago, i broke a quater inch group at 100 yards, 3 shot group. (.22 inches) which is absolutely incredible for a magnum caliber. With the 168's, use H4831. With the 175's, i usee H1000, 63 grains, and .015 off the lands. This is the most accurate rifle in 7 mm. I've ever seen. Not just that I've owned, but that I've ever heard of. I dont know any other 7 mm. Factory rifles hitting .22 inch groups. I also have both stalks. Both are good. I love the fully adjustable precision stalk the most though. No feeding or extraction problems. The action is the smoothest factory action on the market. Even beats the tikka. Love this rifle.

Have not shot it yet. Gorgeous rifle. Love the features like adjustable cheek riser and lop. Although shortest lop is 13.5". Stainless that is entirely cerakoted gray. Like the built in picatinny rail. Trigger came 3lb from factory, no creep. Action is smooth. Like the actuator to unload chamber, while on safe. Showed it to a couple friends. Tell me I might cause divorce.
