For the price it's not a bad option if you're really looking for 5x magnification, but its clunky and cheap feeling. The main issue is the mount, which is garbage. It's a push button, very low quality mount that has a different mounting pattern then the industry standard EOTech mount. It wobbles when flipped in for use, which you'd think being a push button it'd be more secure. Also the mounting footprint is larger than needed so if you're running a full sized reflex type optic and backup rear sight things get cramped quickly. They also chose a non quick detach mount, it comes off easy enough if you have a multi tool handy, but it would be more functional if they just used the QD mount from their other magnifiers. The glass is decent and the eye relief is better than I expected, with the diopter and 'zeroing' adjustments being easy to set and forget. If I can find another mount for this magnifier it will be worth having on the rifle for more then just bench shooting or possibly hunting. If you're goal is 5x magnification for as little money as possible then this is your magnifier, but don't expect it to use it for anything 'duty' related.
