Description

The Steyr AUG is easily one of the most recognizable rifles in the world due to its unmistakable shape and bullpup design. The AUG A3 M1 is the semiautomatic, civilian version of the iconic Austrian rifle with all the features that made the original so great. As with all bullpup rifles, the action is located behind the trigger, allowing for a full length barrel without adding any significant overall length. The AUG A3 M1 has a length of just 28.15 inches with a heavy barrel of 16 inches. It utilizes a short-stroke gas piston operation, allowing the rifle to run cleanly by venting out gas from the front of the rifle and a dual adjustment setting ensures flawless operation even with poor quality ammunition and in adverse conditions.

Lovely gun, easy to break down, easy to shoot. Easily the most comfortable rifle I own. Steyr magazines are amazing, really easy loading, and I have not had any feed issues or loading woes. I have the non-NATO version of the OD Green, make sure you understand the differences between Nato and Non-Nato for the AUG. Standard has a bolt release on the rear of the stock and an under stock mag release. It accepts steyr waffle mags only, while the NATO version accepts both Pmags and Waffle Mags, has a mag release button on the side but no bolt release. The trigger packs for these gun varients are not compatible as well. Make sure the gun fits your body and shooting stance well, as there is no adjustment when it comes to stock or hand placement. I'm supremely happy with the standard version, ton of fun to shoot, and really just a well balanced rifle. Be aware it will be hard to find accessories and replacement parts for this gun outside of ordering direct from steyr, and a lot of the AUG parts are import banned and/or low production.
