I've waited some time to write my review so that I could be well acquainted with the the Nitro first. I must say that I love the bow. It is very fun to shoot and I'm one of those guys who shoot a few arrows most every day of the year. Between me and the wife, we shoot 7 different crossbows and the Nitro has become my favorite due to balance, trigger pull, and speed. I've found that the string and cable wear has been very minor with the daily shooting. I wish that I could use it for our weekly 3-D shoots, but there is no way that the older targets would stop the arrows before ruining the fletch. I really have nothing derogatory that I could say about this bow. Unfortunately, I had to drop it a star due to the Oracle-X. I must say that when the Oracle-X is working, it is a fine scope. I've found it very handy to point and have the dot right where it needs to be on the target. However, Burris has a flaw in the unit and they drain the lithium batteries in very short order. The answer is to pull the battery out after every use, but the battery cap is a major pain to get back on, so doing it on a regular basis is very frustrating. I had bought my wife an Oracle-X and it has the exact same issue. When I contacted Tenpoint they advised that they only warranty the bow, not the scope. So I had to go through Burris. The Burris Service Technicians have sent me out two new scopes and both of those units are also faulty. During my last conversation with Burris, they advise that they have finally figured out the problem, but as of now there is no fix. I'm pretty confident that Burris will eventually get things sorted out and when they do it will be a great unit to own. In the mean time, they do have a lifetime warranty, so ???? My final thought would be if you're thinking seriously about the Nitro 505. Buy it. it's a great shooter.

Definitely worth the money! Get a lot in a small package! Easy to set up the Burris Oracle and dead accurate!! Robinhood one of the arrows and hit dead center on a the nock of an already shot arrow, and split it. The FPS is a lot for this, and my arrows were sinking to the spines from 40 yds.

Bow is really nice but with this kind of money n speed, they should come with more of a warranty on everything including strings. First bow broke string after 6 shots but 2nd one made it through 30 shots so far. Also had my nitro bow break a new string n was charged $290 from ten point since they had to reset firing pin. All shouldve been free with speeds pushing bows too far and $3500 and $4500 spent on bows.

Incredible crossbow! In speed, power and, above all else, accuracy. The combination of all of that in a package that feels so balanced when shouldered is incredible. My third Tenpoint crossbow. Worth every penny!

Great for outdoor use yet compact enough for inside of tight hunting blinds. Easy to store with the right case and light C enough to carry long distances.

I don't actually own any 10 point products but why should that disqualify me. I have heard nothing but great things about their products. I know when I do purchase my next crossbow, it'll be a Ten point!!!

This crossbow performance is surprising. Accuracy at 50 to75 yards is ridiculous. Have shot it out to 120 yards and have hit the ten ring on a deer target. Haven’t had the opportunity to shoot anything yet but can’t wait to get a shot at a deer or hog . Have no reason to believe it will perform any different that what it does on the targets.
