Description

The Tikka T3x Roughtech Ember has all the familiar features of the T3x rifle platform and adds some serious upgrades. The stock is composed of Roughtech material, which features an asymmetrical textured surface to provide superior control over the rifle even in poor weather conditions. The stock is also highly modular, incorporating an interchangeable pistol grip allowing the angle to be modified for accommodating multiple shooting positions. The stock’s fore-grip is outfitted with additional attachment points, allowing the width to be increased. The Ember’s fluted barrel is in the medium-heavy contour – this optimal distribution of weight provides superior accuracy without compromising maneuverability, and a radial muzzle brake greatly mitigates recoil. In addition, the Ember’s ejection port makes feeding individual cartridges easy, and an oversized bolt handle allows for reliable operation even when wearing gloves.

Back ordered the ember .308 in June & waited 4 months for shipment. Yes it was worth the wait! I have two other tikka's in walnut and blued barrel. The ember is special and is one that will be passed down to a favorite family member. I purchased this gun for it's all weather durability. I primarily hunt in michigans upper peninsula where snow and adverse weather is the norm. Also hope to hunt in Saskatchewan in a year or two. I zeroed in with federal premium trophy copper 165 grain ammo. This model is about 1/2 lb lighter than the wood version. It's well balanced and handles great. I was able to hunt with the ember last week and was fortunate to take a northern mi whitetail. It shoots as good as it looks. 👍👍

Found it was in stock a few weeks back. Immediately made the purchase in .308. I could not be happier. A really impressive build and accuracy out of the box is something else. Ember and Stainless is a beautiful combination.
