Description

The TriggerTech Rem 700 Special Trigger is an upgraded version of the Primary model which further enhances accuracy and precision on any Remington 700 model rifle. Just like the Primary model, this drop-in trigger provides a true zero-creep break, extremely short overtravel and offers outstanding reliability, even in the harshest environments. Utilizing CLKR Technology™, and some additional hand refinements, the pull weight on the Special model is quickly and confidently adjusted from 1.0 - 3.5 lbs in ~1oz increments from an externally accessible set screw. Due to the exceptionally crisp break, most shooters report the pull weights feeling ~0.5lbs lighter than a friction based trigger of the same measured weight. As Frictionless Release Technology™ does not rely on coating, polishing or lubricating the key engagement surfaces, trigger pulls will be more consistent from shot to shot.

Intended Use: Benchrest, competition, precision shooting, military, law enforcement, long range hunting, F Class, rugged hunting, harsh environments operations, target shooting, ultra long range, varmint hunting

This is my 4th TriggerTech and love them all. Installed it on Bergara B-14 HMR. No creep and clean break. The safety operates smoothly. OEM trigger wasn’t bad, but the TriggerTech Special is a vast improvement.

I have not yet used this trigger, but I have TriggerTech triggers in other rifles. I bought this for an upcoming rifle build of which parts are on order and several months out. I went with the 1-3.5 lb. pull weight as I like a lighter trigger and the zero creep. One of the best triggers on the market in my honest opinion.

Installed this on a Bergara BMR Carbon. Big improvement over the OEM trigger. I will definitely buy more Trigger Tech triggers in the future.

I mounted this on a Bergara B-14 HMR. Installation was easy and straightforward. Clicks were useable at approximately one ounce each. I reduced the pull weight to 1.25 lbs, (1 lb, 4 oz), with no problem and with very consistent results of 2 oz or less difference pull to pull. Below that, as I approached the minimum setting, the pull became slightly erratic, varying as much as 6 oz from pull to pull. To be fair, Bergara B-14 Series rifles have a notoriously heavy firing pin spring, and Trigger Tech is forthright in telling you that your results may vary due to spring pressure, so maybe the inconsistency at the lowest settings is due to the stiff spring ? All in all, after a little experimenting, a very good trigger.
