I got this when an LPVO did not suit me for my lever action .45-70. I just needed a little more power when not using the ghost rings and wanted a brand known to take the impact and fit well in a QD ADM mount setup. This fellow has good glass and is compact but has enough distance from the optic box to the turrets and from there to the bell to allow for eye relief adjustment. One downside is that the focus is finicky. I have to turn the diopter ring to regain sharpness when changing distances. No, I do not notice parallax problems, only the focus issues. Even though it is rare to see a side focus in a 3-9X scope, this one would benefit from the addition. Illumination is easy, and "off" detents are present between settings. The power ring is not overly tight, so a lever is unnecessary. Europtics had this one at significant savings and delivered quickly, in time for a feral pig hunt. Thanks, guys

I just zeroed for late season elk on a .308 Gunsite Scout. It's the perfect amount of glass for this gun. I went back and forth between the Vortex Viper HST line and the Credo. From deep dark timbers to open bowls in the highlands this scope will deliver. The glass is excellent with an etched reticle. I got a hella good deal on Euro but would happily pay market price.

What a great scope for the money. Very nice 3-9 hunters package of glass, turrets, reticle, green illumination, size and weight. I really like the off detents between each on detent for increasing or decreasing reticle brightness. Now the hard part, deciding which whitetail AR rig gets this ballistic blessing….the 300 Ham’r or 6.5 Grendel. Life is great, hunting is good and my beautiful wife the love of my life is the gourmet master of delicious spaghetti and deer balls. Go Dawgs
