Description

For tactical shooters, this Trijicon Beretta HD Night Sight Set features an orange photo-luminescent paint outline, tall blade, three-dot green night sight, black wide U-shaped notch rear sight, and steeply hooked front surface. This sight fits Beretta 92 and 96A1 models.

The Trijicon HD Night Sights were built the tactical shooters in mind.

The three dot green or yellow tritium night sight set’s front sight features a taller blade and an aiming point ringed in paint. The rear sight is outlined in black and features a wider U-shaped notch which allows for increased visibility. It also This unique configuration increases visibility and accelerates front sight acquisition even in fluctuating lighting.

Additionally, the front surface of the rear sight is hooked to assist in emergency one-handed slide operation.

Professionally installed I was shooting right in line but low about 3" at 10 yards and 6-7" at 25yards. My Beretta 92A1 stock iron sights aims roughly POA/POI at 25yards. I know this from shooting both before and after replacement. This was verified by two separate bore lasers after having the Trijicon sights removed and replaced again with the originals. The sight axis of the installed Trijicon sights and the bore axis of the pistol are angled vertically away from each other and this was verified with two separate bore lasers. Both showed the bore axis steadily lower as I backed further away from my target. I'm not sure if Trijicon designed the front sight too high, the rear sight too low, or if they may have designed this for a different firearm altogether. At any rate it's unacceptable for a set of $110+ sights that claim to be purpose-built for your firearm so far out of vertical alignment. I found that I am far from the first person to have this problem with these sights as the Amazon reviews of the same sights have the exact same thing to say about them. I may attempt the non-HD sight since Trijicon makes the only 92A1 and 96A1 tritium sights I've been able to find. Here's to hoping they're better
