To use a riflescope with your firearm, you’ll need a mounting base and mounting rings in addition to the scope itself. Bases attach to your firearm and rings attach to your scope. Proper spacing of the rings, as well as the ring height should be considered to ensure a proper line of sight can be established. This will maximize the value of your investment, and enhance your shooting experience. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith’s skills will be needed for proper installation.

Bought this scope for my Winchester Model 70. Optical clarity and field of view are all just about flawless. The Accupoint 1-4x24 has a very forgiving eyebox too. The 1x magnification setting is true 1x, not 1.5x as you may find with cheaper optics. This means that on 1x, the scope works just like a red dot sight. The red triangle reticle was a learning curve for me, but after hundreds of rounds fired, the reticle is fast, easy, and accurate. This scope is costly, and I hesitated to buy it, but now there are no regrets here. The only issue is that Accupoint is so good that I no longer appreciate low- or mid-grade optics! Buy with confidence, this is the finest scope I've ever used.

This scope is an excellent choice for close to medium range hunting, home defense, or an SHTF rifle because it never needs batteries and it’s tough as nails. If you search reviews of it on YouTube there are videos of guys still running theirs in 3-gun competitions 10 years after buying it! That was all the proof of durability I needed to convince me to get one.

This is mounted on a Sig 516 14.5" AR rifle. Mine has the red triangle recticle. At 1x it is as easy to use as a good red dot and maintains a clear, bright image all the way to 4x. The scope is well made and appears to be very high quality. I especially like that it does not require a battery to illuminate the recticle, and has a virtual "always on" state. Especially good for a serious purpose scope amd rifle. Highly recommended.

The Accupoint remains a really solid optic for carbines and hunting rifles. I had the G1 1.25-4 and Trijicon replaced that with a 1-4x Accupoint. They both excel in bush or stalk hunting scenarios where close-range shots in bad lighting are normal/expected. The added eye relief and variable magnification are supremely useful versus the ACOG; it is equally at home on fighting carbines or competition guns.

no batteries needed as described the triangle has sharp edges makes it easier to use it either at 6 o’clock position or to be used inside the black for a mid center hold shoot it does practice to achieve proficiency
