This is the second Vortex Strike Eagle 4-24x50MM EBR-4 MOA scope I’ve purchased from EuroOptic. First let me say that I’ve owned and used several Vortex scopes from $500.00 Vipers up to their higher-end scopes. All are used for long range hunting and precision rifles for several years now. I have yet to have any issues of any type, they all perform flawlessly. A friend told me I should try a Strike Eagle as he has been very pleased with his. I mounted my first Strike Eagle on a .300 Win Mag on McMillan A-5 stock, and my latest on a new Christensen Arms .300 PRC. The glass is amazingly clear edge to edge, and the tracking is exact. The illuminated reticle is as good as any priced scope I’ve used. It’s hard to imagine it has 80 MOA adjustment for a scope at that MSRP price, let alone EuroOptic's sale price. I’m not saying it’s a Nightforce, but all of my Vortex Scopes have held up under heavy use and heavy calibers. I just can’t see needing anything more unless you need more magnification. I need to order one more before they sell out.
